板箱 Chest

此板箱以木材为骨架，外包整张牛皮，并在四角与边缘加固铁饰。牛皮经过鞣制处理，表面光滑坚韧，可有效防潮防裂。铁件铆钉牢固，增强了整体的耐久性与安全性。造型方正，体积较大，常用于存放衣物、经卷或贵重物品，是蒙古族家庭实用性极强的家具之一。

This chest is built from wood, covered with tanned cowhide, and reinforced with iron fittings on its corners and edges. The cowhide surface is smooth and tough, offering protection against moisture and cracks. Riveted iron fittings add durability and security. With a square form and large size, the chest was often used to store clothes, scriptures, or valuables, making it one of the most practical household items in Mongolian families.

此板箱为木质结构，柜面彩绘一只猛虎伏地，虎体健硕，双眼圆睁，似在蓄势待发。虎身以黄、黑相间的条纹描绘，线条刚劲有力，背景点缀山石与草木，增强画面的层次感。整体色调鲜明，表现出勇猛与威严的气质。此类板箱不仅为实用储物家具，同时也寄托了对力量与护佑的象征意义。
